A2Z Digital Services

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

A2Z Digital Services (“A2Z”, “we”, “us”) operates an online platform that helps citizens access CSC / e-Sevai and related digital services through registered service centres across Tamil Nadu. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our platform you agree to the practices described here.

Operated by A2Z Digital Services (A2Z NETZONE), Udyam Registration No. UDYAM-TN-30-0107512.

1. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and information generated while you use the service:

  • Account details: your name, mobile number, date of birth, address, and password.
  • Service information: the documents and details you upload or submit for a service request (for example identity or address documents needed to process your application).
  • Payment information: transaction amounts and payment status. Card/UPI details are handled by our payment gateway and are not stored on our servers.
  • Usage information: request status, activity within your account, and basic technical data such as device/browser information needed to run the service securely.

2. How we use your information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To process the service requests you submit through your chosen centre.
  • To take payments and issue refunds where applicable.
  • To send you updates about your requests and account (see Communications below).
  • To provide support and to keep the platform secure and prevent misuse.
  • To meet legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

3. Communications (WhatsApp, SMS, email)

With your consent, we send transactional updates — such as when a request is received, in progress, completed, returned, rejected, or refunded — and account/security messages (for example a one-time verification code). These may be delivered over WhatsApp (using the WhatsApp Business Platform provided by Meta), and may also be sent by SMS or email.

These are service messages related to your requests, not promotional marketing. You can ask us to stop non-essential messages at any time by contacting us or replying to the message where supported. Delivery over WhatsApp is subject to Meta’s terms and policies.

4. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the service:

  • With the service centre you choose, so they can process your request.
  • With our payment gateway (for example Razorpay) to process payments and refunds securely.
  • With messaging providers (such as Meta / WhatsApp) to deliver notifications you have consented to.
  • With infrastructure and storage providers that host the platform and store documents securely on our behalf.
  • Where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of users and the public.

5. Data storage and security

Your information and uploaded documents are stored using reputable cloud infrastructure with access controls and encryption in transit. We restrict access to authorised personnel and to the centre handling your request. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements. When no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

You may, subject to applicable law:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Withdraw consent for non-essential communications.

To exercise any of these, contact us using the details below.

8. Children

The platform is intended for use by adults, or by a parent/guardian on behalf of a family member. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children without the involvement of a responsible adult.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be communicated through the platform where appropriate.
